Dr. Kristin Mattingly D.C.

Dr. Kristin Beratta Mattingly was born and raised in Antioch, CA going to elementary school at St. Peter Martyr in Pittsburg. Dr. Kristin attended Carondelet High School in Concord and participated in many activities such as softball and volleyball. Due to many sports related injuries she saw a family friend who was a chiropractor. This experience inspired her to help others through chiropractic care. After graduating high school Dr. Kristin was accepted to the University of California at Davis, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology and Physiological Behavior and a minor in Psychology. From Davis Dr. Kristin moved to Fremont, CA and attended Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward. During the time Dr. Kristin attended Life West she met the love of her life, her husband Jon, they have been married for 5 years. Dr. Kristin graduated as Valedictorian with a degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Health is very important to Dr. Kristin and her family. Dr. Kristin now has two beautiful daughters, Alysse 4 yrs old, and Ella 1 yr old. Both girls have been adjusted since the day they were born and continue getting checked for subluxation. Adjusting children helps their bodies to stay healthy and thrive.

Dr. Kristin's goal is to help improve the quality of life of all her patients and their families. Dr. Kristin continues to further her education and knowledge by attending seminars and sharing new techniques as a chiropractor with her patients. Dr. Kristin has been working as a chiropractor for several years taking care of patients of all ages and their families.

Dr. Michael Painter D.C.

Dr. Michael Painter was born and raised in Oakley and is grateful to be able to live and work in the same community. Dr. Mike attended local schools and graduated from Liberty Union High School in 1973. A short time later Dr. Mike entered the United States Air Force where he served his country four years. He attended college at Boise State University and then graduated from the prestigious Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia.

He then returned to Contra Costa County, once again settling in Oakley where he opened Oakley Chiropractic Auto Accident Clinic in 1983. Last fall, Dr. Mike celebrated his 32nd business anniversary and has enjoyed an ever-growing practice.
Dr. Mike married his high school sweetheart and he and Pam have four children, Jennifer, Sarah, Samantha and Joseph.

Dr. Mike entered the medical profession because of his sincere desire to serve the public. That philosophical approach to business has carried over into his civic life. He has served for 12 years on the Oakley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, was the inaugural president of the Oakley/Delta Lions Club and continues to serve with that organization, a member of the Brentwood Rotary Club, serves on the Ironhouse Sanitary District Board of Directors (a community elected position), and is a member of several chiropractic associations.

Dr. Mike, committed to excellence, has participated in and completed several courses over the years related to the chiropractic profession. He recently completed studies with the Spinal Research Institute of San Diego and has studied and is certified in the area of animal chiropractic care.

Dr. Mike truly has a love for people, but his love for the outdoors and wildlife is also important. He started the Pheasants Forever Delta Chapter and is committed to protecting wildlife habitat while also protecting the rights of hunters. Both Dr. Mike and his wife Pam's strong sense of family has kept the couple active in their children's lives and thus, they have made generous contributions to schools, service organizations and contribute annually to a Freedom High Scholarship Fund as well as maintain involvement with Golden Hills Church.

Dr. Mike encourages new residents as well as those who have called Oakley home for years to get acquainted with his professional staff and to experience first-hand his knowledge and dedicated service in the area of chiropractic by making an appointment today for preventative chiropractic care. And, should the need ever arise for emergency chiropractic care, you will have a doctor of chiropractic who is familiar with you and who will offer personalized service.
