Natural, Patient-Centered Care
Oakley Chiropractic focuses on finding and reducing interference to the nervous system. When spinal bones move out of alignment and irritate nearby nerves, chiropractors refer to that interference as a subluxation.
Specific chiropractic adjustments are used to help restore spinal motion and support normal nervous-system function. Your care begins with an evaluation so the doctor can recommend an approach based on your individual needs.
The practice’s approach is based on helping the body function as normally as possible. Chiropractors do not claim to cure the body; they work to reduce nervous-system interference so the body’s own healing abilities can function.
Care That Grows With You
Oakley Chiropractic welcomes patients across the lifespan. Care may support people dealing with back pain, stiffness in the spine or extremities, mobility concerns, or a desire to stay active as they age.

Understanding Your Symptoms
Every patient is different. Oakley Chiropractic begins with a history and examination to better understand your symptoms, spinal function, and individual care needs.
Spine & Mobility
Low-back pain can be connected to improper sitting or lifting, overexertion, trauma, inherited spinal abnormalities, irritated facet joints, or pressure from a bulging disc.
Disc or nerve irritation may also cause numbness, tingling, or pain that travels down the leg. The chiropractic approach uses specific adjustments intended to help restore more normal motion and position to affected spinal joints.
Nerve Irritation
The sciatic nerves run from the lower spine down the back of each leg. When a sciatic nerve or nearby tissue becomes irritated or inflamed, symptoms can include intense or shooting pain down one or both legs.
Bulging or herniated discs and changes in spinal function may place pressure on the sciatic nerve roots. Chiropractic adjustments use carefully directed and controlled pressure to address spinal interference and support normal motion.
Head & Neck
Headaches can have many triggers, including stress, fumes, certain foods, preservatives, and alcohol. Problems with motion or positioning in the neck and upper back may also affect sensitive nerves and related tissues.
If an examination identifies reduced range of motion, altered spinal curves, or mechanical restrictions, the doctor can explain whether chiropractic care may be appropriate and recommend an individualized plan.
Collision-Related Care
A sudden back-and-forth movement of the head during a collision can stretch or injure muscles and ligaments, affect spinal discs and joints, and irritate nerves—even when damage to the vehicle appears minor.
Symptoms can include headaches, dizziness, reduced range of motion, shoulder or arm discomfort, and lower-back problems. Some symptoms may appear later rather than immediately after the collision.
See Auto Accident Care ↓Spinal Function
The brain stem and spinal cord carry nerve impulses between the brain and body. When spinal bones lose normal alignment or motion and irritate nearby nerves, chiropractors refer to this interference as a subluxation.
Specific chiropractic adjustments are used to address these areas and help support normal spinal and nervous-system function.

Whiplash can happen when the head is suddenly moved beyond its normal range during a collision. Muscles and ligaments may be stretched or torn, discs may be affected, and spinal joints and nearby nerves may become irritated—even when vehicle damage appears minor.
Symptoms may include headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, shoulder or arm pain, hand pain, limited ability to turn or bend, and low-back problems. Some symptoms may not appear immediately.
After taking a thorough history and completing an examination, the doctor can recommend a care plan designed to help restore proper spinal motion and function.
